I love working here in Killeen where our community is a true melting pot of people from all over the country. I truly enjoy getting to know all the unique families we serve and am honored they have chosen us to be their dental healthcare partners.
As a dentist, I enjoy educating my patients about their oral health. By teaching them about the connection between a healthy mouth and a healthier body, I’m able to motivate them to take better care of both. I focus on a person’s specific dental concerns and together we identify areas where they can improve their home care through better nutrition, developing healthy habits, and by improved home dental hygiene.
Being a dentist means I’m able to help people. Whether I’m getting someone out of pain, or restoring and improving a smile, I’m making a difference and it is immensely rewarding, both professionally and personally.

I continue to take extensive advanced continuing dental education in order to refine my skills and best serve my patients. I’ve studied cosmetic dentistry, endodontics (root canals), oral surgery, implant restoration, and sedation dentistry. I take pride in providing the very best treatment available, using the most modern techniques.

Outside the Office
I grew up in the same small town outside Seattle, WA as Dr. Boekweg. After having graduated from the University of Washington School of Dentistry, I moved to Central Texas and was proud to spend four years at Fort Hood serving as a dentist in the United States Army. I loved taking care of our soldiers and their familes and that experience led me to stay and open Fusion Dental at Clear Creek. I’m now currently serving in the Texas Army National Guard, spending one weekend a month at Camp Bullis. I love keeping our Nation’s troops healthy and the new opportunites and challenges it affords me. Some of my proudest accomplishments are having earned the Air Assault Badge and the Expert Field Medic Badge. I was very excited to attend the Airborne School in February 2016.
I am married to my beautiful wife Eirian. We enjoy relaxing at home and playing catch with our three awesome dogs, Katie, Riley, and Tilly. I’m also “Uncle Johnny” to five nieces and nephews. My family is very important to me and I love spending time with them. I’m a huge water bug and love being on the lake, hiking, or just hanging out.
